About the Artist

I grew up in the 1950’s in a small Minnesota farming community of 498 people. I was surrounded by family, and someone always knew what I was up to! Oh, what a wonderful place to live!

My imagination was always on full speed. I enjoyed playing with the other town kids and my friends who lived in the country. We played “kick the can,” softball, fished, swam in the river, and hid out in the old abandoned brewery caves. Spending the summers swimming and fishing with my dad are some of my most cherished memories.

I have never lost my love of being outside, and believe that these special days shaped my creativity and painting styles.

I have been truly blessed.
